As the founder of The Celebration Project, a new social enterprise offering stationery which raises funds for good causes, building strong relationships with local, reliable suppliers is of paramount importance. The criteria for choosing the best manufacturer for our latest products – the Weekly Planner and the Shopping List & Menu Planner were:
- Local business with free delivery
- Experienced in working on specific projects
- Short delivery time
- Advice on design and paper quality
- Realistic order quantities, and
- Competitive price
Working closely with Gail, of Macpro, gave me peace of mind and confidence with an order for 1,000 brand new planners. On her advice, I chose premium quality, 120gsm, white A4 paper and a firm card backing which gives you a firm surface to rest on.
I was pleased to receive samples of each of the planners so that I could proof the content and, of course, they were perfect.
On delivery day, 50 boxes each containing 20 pads arrived on time and I was relieved to have some help carrying them inside. Each box is neatly labelled and I have had no issues with any of the over 100 planners we have sold in the past four weeks. You can find our Weekly Planners on the website
The Celebration Project has plans for additional planning products including a Family Organiser and a Habit Tracker. The Family Organiser will be a 52 page landscape planner with space for up to five family members or house-mates to plan their week’s appointments or rotas. The Habit Tracker will be DL envelope size and provide space for writing New Year’s Resolutions or habits you are trying to commit to on a daily basis.
I will also be moving the printing of my greetings cards and thank-you cards to MacPro as our stocks need replenishing shortly and their price is very competitive.
The Celebration Project is planning for a KickStarter campaign in 2017 and I will be seeking Macpro’s help is making this a great success.
All in all, MacPro Design & Print offer great customer service and I look forward to working with Gail and the team for many years to come.
